The Democracy Day Conference 2026, convened by Nigeria Youths in Politics, is a landmark gathering designed to commemorate Nigeria’s democratic journey and reaffirm the enduring significance of June 12 in our national history.
Under the theme “The Time is Now: Youth Building a Sustainable Democracy,” this year’s conference places young people at the center of democratic consolidation. It recognizes that beyond participation, Nigerian youths must actively shape, strengthen, and sustain democratic institutions and values.
