State Assembly 2027:
Call for Young Aspirants Support
Youth Quota in Parliament Advocacy Initiative
The Youth Quota in Parliament Advocacy Initiative, as part of its continued commitment to advancing youth inclusion and representation in governance, has been engaging political parties across Nigeria to create opportunities and support pathways for young people aspiring to elective offices.
Following these engagements, some political parties have expressed willingness to consider supporting and sponsoring qualified young aspirants for State House of Assembly positions ahead of the 2027 general elections.
We hereby call on interested young Nigerians under the age of 35 — including young women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) — who possess the competence, leadership capacity, political experience, and passion for public service, to submit their profiles for consideration.
This initiative seeks to promote inclusive participation, strengthen youth representation in parliament, and encourage credible young leaders to actively participate in Nigeria's democratic process.
